You are reading this because you, most likely, want to make a difference and love Art. Or maybe you feel that the current pace of preventative change is not quick enough. Whatever your reason may be there are many reasons to support PURE LUCK. The most popular reason is simple, it feels good to do good. Positivity is contagious. I’m not here to nag you about the negative potentials of climate change, corruption, greed and rising sea levels. If you like Art, have or plan to have children, then those are the only reason’s you need to support PURE LUCK.
Most people don’t have the time to think about how they can make a serious impact towards climate change or support Art and innovation with little action or cost on their part. The government on the other hand has cut Art funding, is bogged down with bureaucracy and is dragging their feet nationally on alternative energy policy. They are leaving it up to the private sector. That is where PURE LUCK comes in. I want to briefly share the story of PURE LUCK, some of our ideas and how you can participate in what we have to offer. Let me start with the inspiration first.
PURE LUCK started as a nickname for a woman who is overflowing with the joy of life, love and learning. She attracts countless admirers and acts of generosity. A classicist in approach and trained in the classical Arts, this woman embodied everything I wanted my organization to represent. She inspired me while simultaneously she made me realize that this idea of what she represented is attainable for everyone. She had become such a joy to my life and I could see how positively others responded. I wanted to share this feeling with everyone and I wanted it to be what guided PURE LUCK. She is PURE LUCK and her representation sits atop our crest.
When you are acting toward a humanitarian collective goal you are paying it forward. Our members take part in a cause that aims at a better quality of life for everyone. In return they get piece of mind that someone is acting on their behalf. We aim to distribute PURE LUCK in the form of pointed, positive, substantial projects that pay inspiration, innovation and prosperity forward for many future generations. PURE LUCK curates innovation through art application at a societal level.
Should you choose to support PURE LUCK you will be at the forefront of new ideas, the creation of new art and literally seeding grassroots change.

Here are a few photos of us at the Verge Art Fair during Art Basel. We took these during the few times we could “breathe”! It was a great event for us…. we did extremely well! We want to thank everyone who attended and supported us by either being there or buying a shirt. We made a lot of new friends and great contacts.
We are so happy to be named an Honoree in this year’s Webby Awards. The Webby Awards is one of the most prestigious award shows for web-design. You definitely have to be one of the best to make it to that list.. so we’re really thrilled!
But we would like to thank Rony Cinco (you can find his link to the left) for designing and developing the site.

We are planning to start our “2nd collection”, so we are looking for some awesome artists who wish to contribute their art to us.
If you are an artist (any type of artist such as an illustrator, photographer, etc) and would like to have your art on our shirt, please email us at info@farofanation.com. We will send you a Design Pack that has all the necessary info. We are more in need of women and kid’s shirts… but if you have a kick ass idea for men, great!
Just so you know, we don’t pay for the art work, but what we do is give you full credit for the shirt and promote your website in all our channels of communication. Again, our mission is to have a collective of artists who wish to help with our cause with their art.

As we are embarking in the new year, we have decided to do some new things…. We have started to sell Non-Farofa Nation merchandise. Our first non-farofa tee we are selling is “Rocket Girl” from Juan Patino. You may already know that he has already designed two of our shirts – Vertigo and Farofa Voador. We just opened a very small showroom that will act also as a retail store. We will of course be selling our products. But we are planning to sell other products too. As of now, we have some Mimushi (mimushi.com) merchandise that you can check out – Mimushi is very exclusive and very cool; you have to come by and check …em out to get a real feel of the Mimushi figurines.
We are located at 2801 Florida Ave, Suite 3 Unit D in Coconut Grove. We are right behind the big hair salon, Ugo Di Roma. It’s a bit hidden, but just ask the receptionist in Ugo Di Roma and they will lead the way.

The Mimushi Nation Pack! Farofa Nation and our friends at Mimushi have joined forces to offer the “Mimushi Nation” pack. When you purchase a “Mimushi Nation” pack, you get Farofa Nation’s “Revolt From Within” shirt and a Mimushibo Benkei collectible wooden figurine.
Mimushi is a collection of wooden art figurines based on a multiple personality character who shape-shifts psychosomatically into various forms. This wooden series called the “Dauntless Gatekeepers” was conceptualized by artist blattke through an intricate handicraft process that involves woodcarving and wheat straw veneering techniques.
